Youth Scholarships
2012 - 2013 RECIPIENTS
Besides funding the Youth Livestock Auction, funds raised through our program also support The State Fair of Texas Scholarship Fund. Assisting deserving Texas youth further their education improves not only their world, but ours as well. This spring, 227 new and renewed scholarships ($5,000 renewable grants) were awarded for the 2012-2013 school year to students attending the five high schools in the immediate Fair Park area and 4-H/FFA youth who showed at the State Fair in various qualifying shows/contests!
The State Fair of Texas Scholarship Program is an investment in the future of Texas. Completed applications are accepted in January and February each year. If you have questions, please contact Carolyn Scott, Scholarship Coordinator, at scholarships@bigtex.com.
