| LITTLE HANDS ON THE FARM Kids love this miniature farm where they can plant seeds, gather eggs and drive a tiny tractor before harvesting crops and taking them to market. Daily, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. near the Children’s Barnyard. Sponsored by Bank of America, AT&T and Walmart. FREE. | |

| AGRIQUEST Play to win free groceries. Start your scavenger hunt at Big Tex’s Barnyard or one of seven other AgriQuest stations around the fairgrounds and join the QUEST for the common denominator. Use QR codes to track your journey or use one of the passports found at a Visitors’ Information Center. Prizes for all who complete AgriQuest, plus daily, weekly and grand prizes. | LIVESTOCK Diligence and countless hours pay off for participating 4H and FFA exhibitors at the Youth Livestock Auction of Champions Oct. 5 in the Tom Thumb Sale Pavilion. A roster of shows and sales offer fairgoers an array of animals to enjoy: beef and dairy cattle, sheep, swine, goats, poultry and exotic breeds. FREE. | |

| THE FOOD AND FIBER PAVILLION is a 25,000 square foot pavilion located in the heart of the State Fair of Texas. The pavilion is used to educate the public about the valuable resources and the diverse industry of Texas agriculture and includes two GO TEXAN stores selling Texas-made products, educational and entertaining events, interactive exhibits and GO TEXAN member product sampling.Open daily 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Friday - Sunday; 10:00 AM 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday |
