State Fair of Texas' Chairman's Task Force presented $40,000 towards construction of a new livestock center..
Raising funds for the new livestock center
The new Livestock Center replaces the 70-year-old Sale Pavilion, a deteriorating open-sided wooden structure with a dirt exercise arena, dock, pens, a paved open span area and a wash bay. The construction and development of the center will contribute to the revitalization of Fair Park and stimulate the local economy - while promoting agriculture and continuing education.
