Ag Awareness Day
AGRICULTURE AWARENESS DAY
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2010!
The 2010 Ag Awareness Day event is rapidly approaching! As in the past, invitation letters will be sent to all 4-H, FFA and FCCLA chapters across the state coinciding with the opening of school. Ticket orders must be placed online prior to our September 15 deadline. Maximum ticket order allocation is 20% over the 2009 paid membership per Club/Chapter furnished to us by the State Office for each organization.
Activities for the day will begin at 8:00 AM with our annual food drive where the "Youth of Texas Give Back". Be sure your group participates in the new and improved AgriQuest Competition (scavenger hunt encompassing the grounds) where you can discover how Agriculture is ingrained in our every day lives in its different forms. The Awards presentation for both the Food Drive and AgriQuest Competition will be held at noon on the Chevy Main State to accommodate those of you on tight bus schedules.
