Entry forms and entry fees are due July 29.

Participants from the 2010 State Fair of Texas competitions or contests have been mailed a 2011 Competition Handbook at no cost. Books were mailed on April 26. We have received numerous reports that the books were not received. Please enter using the electronic version of the handbook. A replacement book may be picked up at the State Fair Creative Arts' Department. The office is open Monday - Friday. Please call 214-421-8744 prior to coming. For those interested in purchasing a printed version, please mail $5 per handbook (check or money order) made payable to: State Fair of Texas, P.O. Box 150009, Dallas, TX 75315.

State Fair Cookbooks

Winning recipes from last year's Fair will be found in the 2011 State Fair Cookbook, available AUGUST 15. To order the book, please send a $30 check or money order (includes postage + handling), made payable to the State Fair of Texas, 2011 Cookbook, P.O. Box 150009, Dallas, TX 75315.

Cookbooks may be purchased inside Creative Arts during the Fair for $25, but are usually sold out by the second week. At Fairtime, books may be bought with cash, check, Master Card, Visa or American Express.

Where is the Creative Arts Building?

The building sits on Adm. Nimitz Drive, with the Cotton Bowl on its 'back doorstep.' Ribbon winners of all kinds and categories are artfully displayed in their 17,000-square foot home.
