Speaker Bureau
Our Chairman's Task Force Committee is a group of dedicated volunteer ambassadors who make knowledgeable speakers for your meetings, conferences or events. Leaders from the business community, serving as State Fair representatives, will be happy to tell your group about the State Fair of Texas, whether it's our history, our Scholarship Program, or what's in store for this year's visitors. The head of the Chairman's Task Force is Craig A. Woodcook, pictured below.
Examples of organizations requesting presentations:
- Clubs, including Rotary, Kiwanis, and Lions
- Chambers of commerce
- Community college classes
- Professional associations
The State Fair of Texas is a private, non-profit corporation. It receives no funds from state, federal or local government and is entirely self-supported.
The service is free to the community. If your organization wants to schedule a speaker for an upcoming meeting, please make arrangements at least three weeks in advance.
Just complete the Speaker Request Form (.pdf) and contact Public Relations at 214.421.8715. The form may be faxed to 214.421.8710 - Attention: PR.
