Volunteer Committees
The Livestock Department has several volunteer committees that are an integral part of our Fairtime operation. The committees are always looking for new members. Following is a brief synopsis of the committees; a more detailed description is available by clicking on the committee title.
Auction CommitteeFundraising committee supporting the Youth Livestock Auction & Scholarship Program
Pan American CommitteeIn addition to acting as liaisons to International Guests during our "open" shows; this committee offers a wide variety of opportunities for involvement with something for everyone.
Youth Educational Activities CommitteeFocusing specifically on our Ag Awareness Day Event (Tuesday, October 5, 2010), this committee provides manpower to assist in a variety of areas to ensure smooth transitioning of 4-H/FFA and FCCLA youth participants from across the state.
Youth Livestock CommitteeThis group provides assistance in all areas of our "youth" livestock shows, offering a wide range of opportunity for involvement.
