KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:  STADIUM RULES AND REGS  

WELCOME TO DALLAS!

Easy way to get to the Cotton Bowl Stadium at Fair Park:

Ride the DART Green Line to the State Fair of Texas.

Alcohol:

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the stadium.

Automotive Assistance:

Before, during and after the game contact the State Fair of Texas gates department at: 214-421-8840.

Baby Changing Stations:

Baby changing stations are available in all public restrooms.

Bag Searches (see also prohibited items):

Only small personal bags (purses, baby diaper bags, etc.,) will be permitted inside the stadium and are subject to search at all entrances. Bag sizes must be no larger than 9X9X15 inches. All unnecessary items should be left in owner’s vehicle or at home.

Prohibited items must be returned to owner’s vehicle or discarded. Staff may not store or hold items for patrons until the game is over. Guests who refuse to allow visual inspections of contents of bags or purses will be denied entry to the stadium.

Banners (see also prohibited items):

Banners are not allowed in the stadium.

Binoculars:

Binoculars and their cases are permitted in the stadium, subject to inspection at all entrances.

Cameras/Video Cameras:

Cameras are allowed in the stadium. Cameras with detachable lenses and video cameras are not permitted inside the stadium.

Child Ticketing Policy:

Each person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the stadium.

Coolers:

Coolers are not permitted in the stadium.

 ADA Elevators:

ADA elevators for sections 12 thru 20 are located at gate C; sections 28 thru 36 are located at Gate J; sections 5 – 8 are located between gates A and M.

Emergency Inside Stadium:

For any emergency, including medical emergencies while inside the stadium, notify the nearest usher or police officer. Stadium services are located at gates A and G, and upper concourse sections 139 and 117.

Evacuation:

In the event of an emergency, listen for instructions from the public address announcer. Stadium ushers and law enforcement personnel will direct patrons to the closest safe exit. Please assist other guests who may need assistance. All exits and emergency exits in the stadium are clearly marked.

Family Restrooms:

Single stall unisex restrooms are located in the North and South end zones.

Field Access:

Only authorized persons with proper credentials are allowed on the field. Fans entering the field area without proper credentials are subject to eviction and arrest. Credentials for field access are not available for purchase. 

First Aid/EMS:

The first aid station is located at gates A and G, as well as the North and South concourses of the upper deck. If medical attention is needed, please notify the nearest usher; stadium staff is trained to call for immediate response and assistance in emergency situations.

Food/Beverages:.

Guests may not bring food or beverages, including alcoholic beverages, inside the stadium. Concession stands are located throughout the stadium. ot sold or permitted inside the stadiums.

Game programs:

Official game programs are available for purchase around and inside the stadium.

Gates Open:

Gates open two hours before kickoff. This includes gates to all general seating areas, and the press box.

Lost and Found:

Lost items should be reported to the stadium offices at gate A. Lost items not claimed by the end of the game are turned over the State Fair of Texas’ lost and found office.

Lost Children:

Lost children should be reported to the stadium office at gate A.

Radios:

Hand-held and pocket-sized portable radios are allowed in the stadium. Please be considerate of other patrons and use an earpiece or headphone to listen to a radio.

Security:

Suspicious activity, disruptive guests and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative guests showing disregard for other patrons, the stadium, or the teams will be ejected from the facility. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed in the stadium. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected guest is grounds for arrest.

Patrons and belonging may be searched upon entry into the stadium. To report an incident in a seating area, please notify the nearest usher, security guard or police officer at the entrance to the seating area.

Smoking Policy:

Smoking is not permitted in the Cotton Bowl. No smoking is permitted in stadium confines, including suites and press box.

Solicitation:

The Cotton Bowl does not permit unauthorized soliciting, collection of contributions, vending, distribution of fliers or other promotional/advertising materials in or around the Cotton Bowl

Standing Room Only:

Every ticket has a seat assignment. There are no standing room only or general admission tickets and ushers are instructed to keep the aisles clear. Cooperation is appreciated in keeping the aisles clear for other guests.
