• More than $2 million from the State Fair Scholarship Fund has been awarded to students bound for Texas colleges and universities.

• The State Fair of Texas is a private, non-profit corporation. It receives no funds from state, federal or local government and is entirely self-supported.

• The service is free to the community.

Examples of organizations that have received presentations:

• Clubs, including Rotary, Kiwanis, and Lions

• Chambers of commerce

• Community college classes

• Professional associations

If your organization wants to schedule a speaker for an upcoming meeting, please make arrangements at least three weeks in advance. Just complete the Speaker Request Form (.pdf) and contact Public Relations at 214-421-8715.  The form may be faxed to 214-421-8710 (attention PR).
