State Fair of Texas Scholarship Program

Established in 1992, the program has awarded more than $2.3 million in new and renewed scholarships. 

Recipients are awarded a $5,000 grant, renewable in $1,250 annual increments if the student maintains a 3.0 GPA toward their college degree at a Texas university and/or Texas community college.

DISD graduating seniors from James Madison High School, Lincoln High School, North Dallas High School, Woodrow Wilson High School and Irma L. Rangel Young Women's Leadership School are eligible to apply if all requirements are met.

Young people from around the state who participate in State Fair livestock shows are also eligible who meet certain applicable requirements.
